I build the systems venues and hotels run on.

Founder and developer of VirgOS, a hospitality operating system built in Istanbul. AI engineer at Oracle.

VirgOS

One guest, one folio, one ledger.

Hospitality software is fragmented by default. The restaurant runs one system, the front desk runs another, the beach club runs a third, and each of them has a different idea of who the guest is. VirgOS puts a shared platform core underneath two composable layers, venue operations for food and beverage and stay operations for hotels, so a check, a cabana tab and a room night are charges on the same folio.

I designed the architecture, wrote the kernel, and build both the backend and the product surfaces. It runs offline first, because a venue that loses its connection still has guests to serve.

Selected work

Research projects, coursework built well past the brief, and one hackathon weekend that got out of hand.

2024 to 2025  ·  Graduation project, team lead

Smart cybersecurity education platform

An AI assisted training platform for security teams: real world attack simulations, a SOC analyst environment and a forensics workspace. I led the team and built the NLP components that generate the training material. Supervised by Prof. Orçun Çetin at Sabanci University.

Moonquake Map

An interactive 3D map of every moonquake recorded between 1969 and 1979, built in a weekend with React, Three.js and a Python data pipeline.

Where I have worked

Feb 2026 to now

AI Engineer

Oracle

Designing and training models across several architectures, and putting them to work in unsupervised learning projects.

Jun 2024 to May 2025

Software Engineer

Invent Analytics

Automated the data requirement steps across a large set of YAML configurations with a Python tool, then designed a format agnostic structure and the scripts that keep live data in sync across GitHub, Databricks and AWS S3.

Feb 2023 to Oct 2023

Blockchain and Backend Developer

Emperors, Solana

Built a futures trading automation tool combining moving average models, machine learning and a custom estimation layer.

2020 to 2025

B.S. Computer Science

Away from the keyboard

Music

Piano and electric guitar for seven years. I composed an instrumental piece on the harmony of nature that Sabanci University published.

Tennis and basketball

I play both competitively. Showing up to practice when the result is months away is the same habit that ships software.

Museums and Renaissance history

Where technology met artistic ambition the first time around, which turns out to be a useful thing to think about while designing products.

Blockchain community

Co-president of the Sabanci University Blockchain Club. I ran hackathons and led the developer teams we sent to international competitions.
